The purpose of this project was to design a toy. The first thing to do was a market analysis, investigating existing toys, the current fashion in the area and what can be improved. Also included parameters such as age, culture and social environment.
Our user age range is from 1 to 3 years, but in this case it was also taken into account the buyer. Sketching process is carried out in search of forms and ideas.
We made our 3D models to test the feasibility of the toy. It is important to analyze materials and construction, we need to know whether the toy is safe and can pass quality controls.
Ta-Bo is a toy that comes within various categories: walker, wooden puzzle, children’s furniture or chalkboard.
The simple design intent is that the child can interact with it as they wish, without rules or patterned choices.
